The Paper
Lots of attention, testing and deliberation has gone in to selecting the right kind of paper for my prints. Choosing Hahnemüle Pearl is no accident, it has a smooth orange peel texture and a bright neutral white base, it creates really natural black and white images and offers vibrant colour reproduction and great detail too. The paper is resin coated with a fibrous feel. The satin finish of the resin coating gives depth to the image which combined with the texture and vibrant colour reproduction give the image the feel of an oil painting. This is one of the most suitable of the Giclée Art Paper range for mounting. So if you are ordering a print-only art, this gives you broad mounting and framing options.
The Frames
Where available you have a choice of black, white or natural oak wood A size frames, complete with high quality glass. Artwork is fitted in the frame so it is ready to be hung on your wall. Windows are made from glass other than A1, which uses high quality acrylic to avoid damage in transit. Our frames are manufactured in Germany from solid FSC certified timber.
The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council®. The frames are equipped with edge-ground float glass, an acid-free insert and a sturdy MDF rear panel. The rear panels are equipped with hangers in portrait and landscape format.
